Claim #1 for

Rank is what you pay. Every payment counts for 7 days.

    Daily #1

Every closed UTC day's #1 on the Today board. Past days stay frozen here.

      The boards

      One payment, three time windows.

      • Today covers the current UTC day and resets at midnight UTC.
      • Last 7 days counts each payment for exactly 7 days from when it was paid. This is the front page.
      • All-time adds up everything ever paid and never resets.
      • There's no weekly reset. A game only slips when older payments reach 7 days and nobody pays again.
      • Each closed day's #1 goes into the Daily #1 archive.

      How ranking works

Money decides. Ties go to whoever paid first.

      • Whole US dollars, from $5 up to $99,999 per payment.
      • Paying less than you hoped still puts you on the board, at whatever rank the amount reaches.
      • Rank is set when payment is confirmed. If someone pays more while you're at checkout, you may land one place lower.

      Raising and backing

Pay the difference, never the full amount again.

      • Open a game, enter a new total at least $1 above its current one, and pay only the difference.
      • Anyone can raise any game, so players can back the games they like.
      • Paying for a game only ever moves that game up. Nobody can take over another listing.

      What you can list

      Any game, on any store.

      • One listing per game: released, early access, a demo, or a wishlist or crowdfunding page. You must have made it or represent it.
      • Up to five links: Steam, Epic, itch.io, App Store, Google Play, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox or your website. Discord only as an extra link.
      • We strip tracking you paste and add our own source tag, so our visits show up in your analytics.
      • Not allowed: adult content, real-money gambling, games that require buying crypto or NFTs, malware, copied games.

      Fair play

Money ranks, but it can't buy everything.

      • Four Community pick spots can't be bought. Players vote them in daily.
      • Developers can verify a game with a short code on the store page or website. Verified games show a check mark.
      • Clicks count once per visitor, per game, per day. Bots are filtered out.

      Paying

      Stripe checkout. Final once paid.

      • Card details go to Stripe, never to Spawnrank. Tax is added where it applies.
      • A completed payment claims the rank and the listing goes live right away.
      • No refunds for being outranked, payments expiring, resets, low clicks or removal for breaking rules. Duplicate charges are refunded in full.

      FAQ

Short answers. The rules win if anything here disagrees.

      What is Spawnrank?

A public leaderboard for games where rank is what you pay. You list a game, pay an amount, and sit above every game that paid less. Players click through to wherever the game lives.

      How much does it cost?

New listings start at $5. Taking #1 costs at least $5 more than the current #1. Any other rank costs $1 more than the game there. If you're already listed, you only pay the difference when you raise.

What's the difference between Today, Last 7 days and All-time?

One payment counts on all three. Today resets at midnight UTC. Last 7 days counts each payment for exactly 7 days, then drops it. All-time never resets.

Which stores can I link to?

Steam, Epic, itch.io, App Store, Google Play, Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and your own website. Up to five links per game.

Will I see Spawnrank traffic in my own analytics?

Where the store allows it. Steam and websites get utm_source=spawnrank, Google Play gets the same tags inside its referrer parameter, and the App Store gets a ct campaign token (add your pt provider token to your listing). itch.io shows us as a referrer on its own. Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic don't share referral data, so the click counts on Spawnrank are the record there.

      Can players back a game?

Yes. Anyone can raise any game. It only ever moves that game up.

      Are payments refundable?

No. Payments are final, except a duplicate charge from a technical error.

How do I report a listing?

Use the report link on the game's page. We remove copied games, adult content, gambling and anything else the rules don't allow.
